業務名：
米陸軍キャンプ座間内の建物101および102の上水道施設改修設計および工事

業務内容：
本業務内容は，米陸軍キャンプ座間内の建物101および102にける上水道施設改修の設計施工業務である。
既設建物の上水道設備は，通常使用の上水道と，消火用水が供用となっている。このため，これらを分離し別系統とすることを目的として設計並びに工事を実施した。既設の水道本管から新規の水道管を布設して，各建物へ引き込み，全ての水利用施設へ接続した。併せて逆流防止弁等の設備を設置した。

Design of Cold Water System

Project Title:
Replace Domestic Cold Water Distribution Lines, Bldg 101 and 102, Camp Zama, Japan

Description of our scope of work:
The objective of this project is to replace the domestic cold water piping servicing Buildings 101 and 102, Camp Zama. Originally, existing service laterals feed both domestic cold-water service as well as fire service inside both buildings. This project separated domestic cold-water service from fire service. Existing service laterals were kept and were dedicated to fire service. New service laterals were installed and brought into the building at entry point identified on the drawings. Where existing domestic cold-water service is disconnected from existing service, existing service was cut and capped.

Design was performed in accordance with:
Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 3-420-01 Plumbing Systems, dated 25 Oct 2004 and Oct 2006; Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 3-230-10A Water Supply: Water Distribution, dated 16 Jan 2004; International Plumbing Code (IPC), 2006 Edition, etc.
