米海軍横須賀基地内の下水道施設改修のPCP作成(NA920)

業務内容:
本業務内容は,米海軍横須賀基地におけるNA920下水道施設改修のPCP作成である。
基地内全ての既設下水道施設(下水本管,バルブ類,ポンプ施設,汚水処理施設等)の調査を実施した後,下水道施設の改修計画を作成した。また,環境省の第4次総量規制および神奈川県の水質汚濁防止法に準拠した,汚水処理施設,中央管理施設および周辺施設を計画した。さらに,下水道施設全体の流量計算,焼却炉施設の改修,建物1210の発電機およびオイルタンクの設置,湿式スプリンクラーシステムの設置等の施設を計画した。

Sanitary Sewer System

Project Title:
Preparation of PCP for NA920, Wastewater System Upgrade, Yokosuka, Japan

Description of our scope of work:
To conduct site investigation of the existing main sewer pipes and valves; relay pump stations and associated equipments, wastewater treatment system; and to develop provision of central supervisory monitoring system with accessories to evaluate water quality to comply with the requirements set forth by the Japanese Environmental Ministry and Kanagawa Prefecture, “5th Amendment Water Quality Restrictions.”
Other engineering works included calculation of inflow and provision of sludge transfer lines and study for replacement of existing incinerator and associated equipments; installation of new generator and oil tank in Bldg. 1210, new wet type sprinkler system, new change over panel for emergency generator, and identification of direct discharged wastewater lines from facilities entering into the storm drainage system to sanitary sewerage system and vice versa for proper disposal.

Design was performed in accordance with:
UFC 3-240-03N, Wastewater Treatment System Design Augmenting Handbook, Operation and Maintenance; UFC 3-240-04A Wastewater Collection; UFC 3-600-01 Design, Fire Protection for Facilities; NFPA 820, etc.
