業務名：
米海兵隊岩国基地内のノースゲート改修のBCP作成（MC 160-T）

業務内容：
本業務内容は，米海兵隊岩国基地における北ゲート改修のBCP作成である。
米海兵隊岩国基地において将来的に増加する自家用車および商用トラックの交通量に対応するために，既設のノースゲートの改修計画を実施した。この基地ゲートに含まれる施設は，ゲートハウス，ビジターセンター，守衛所（3箇所），監視所，およびその他の関連施設（ゲートおよびフェンス，空調施設，無停電装置，緊急用発電機，PAシステム，照明施設，駐車場，車両検査場所，アクティブ車両バリア等）である。

Project Title:
Preparation of Basic Criteria Package (BCP) for Host Nation Funded MC 160-T North Gate Reconstruction, MCAS, Iwakuni, Japan

Description of our scope of work:
MC 160-T will relocate the existing North Gate Entry Control Point (ECP) to meet anticipated increases in Personally Owned Vehicles (POV) and commercial truck traffic and to support increased security requirements and projected traffic volume for future main gate of Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Iwakuni, Japan.  MC 160-T will construct the new facilities such as, Gate House, Visitors Center, Sentry Booths, and Overwatch Position Facility and other supporting facilities such as; gates and fencing, heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC), Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) with automatic transfer switch system (ATS), emergency generator shelter, PA system, overhead canopy for vehicle processing with security lighting, signage traffic control signs, vehicle pull-off / inspection area, emergency vehicle parking area, pedestrian turnstiles, permanent passive barriers, active vehicle barriers, hardened perimeter sliding gates, traffic signage, and all necessary utilities, exterior lighting, landscaping and pavements.

Design was performed in accordance with:
Latest DoD Criteria, specifically; UFC 4-020-02, DoD Security Engineering Facilities Design Manual, and UFC 4-022-01, Security Engineering: Entry Control Facilities/Access Control Points, IBC, ADAAG, NFPA, etc.
